Manchester United will play a blockbuster tie away to Adobe Women's FA Cup holders Chelsea in the fifth round of this season's competition.

The rematch of last term's Wembley final between the sides is due to take place on Sunday 22 February, with exact details to be confirmed in due course.

It comes after Marc Skinner's Reds beat Burnley 5-0 in the fourth round on Sunday, to make a successful start to our 2025/26 FA Cup campaign.

United have reached the FA Cup's last three finals, and will face the Blues for the fourth successive season in the tournament.

The Londoners got the better of us in the 2023 and 2025 showpiece events, but the Reds memorably won the 2024 semi-final clash in Leigh, en route to lifting the trophy for the first time.

Next month's meeting will be the first time that Chelsea have hosted the fixture in this competition, after they began their defence of the silverware by beating WSL 2 outfit Crystal Palace on Saturday.

We drew 1-1 at home to Sonia Bompastor's team in the Barclays Women's Super League earlier this season, and are due to conclude our league season away to them in May.

The fifth-round draw was conducted at Wembley Stadium on Monday night and featured several other notable ties.

Liverpool will host Everton in a Merseyside derby, while there will be a clash of two top-flight teams from the capital when London City Lionesses play Tottenham Hotspur.

Record 14-time winners Arsenal are at home to second-tier side Bristol City, and Manchester City also drew WSL 2 opposition, in Sheffield United.

Fourth-tier Chatham Town are the lowest-ranked club remaining and will look to continue their cup run with the scalp of Birmingham City, two divisions above them.
