Yoro will be important "for many years to come"
Phil Jones expects Leny Yoro to be an important player for Manchester United for many years to come.
Like the 19-year-old, Jones joined the club as a teenager, and soon earned a first-team place under Sir Alex Ferguson, showing his qualities and temperament to handle what is required to succeed at Old Trafford.
It was clear during an exclusive interview with club media that the former England international believes Yoro has what it takes to continue enhancing his growing reputation as one of Europe's top young centre-backs.
Our no.15 represented France Under-21s during the break, helping them keep a clean sheet in a 3-0 win over Serbia, and is likely to be a key figure in Sunday's Manchester derby, against City, at the Etihad Stadium.

"I think he's been really, really good," Jones replied, when asked to assess his fellow defender.
"I like the characteristics as a player, as a centre-back, especially on the right side of a back three.
"I think he's got the pace and the athleticism, which I think is paramount for a centre-half, these days, in the Premier League.
"Technically, he's very good on the ball," added Jones. "In the build-up, he's very good and very reliable.
"He reads the game really well. He's strong in both boxes.
"So, yeah, he is going to be an important player for Manchester United for many years to come."
Phil Jones was speaking as part of the Pro Am Padel Tour 2025 (@proampadeltour), which concludes with the national final in London on 14 October.
