Will Wan-Bissaka be fit to face Leeds?
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is hopeful that Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be able to return to the squad for Sunday’s Premier League game away to Leeds.
The full-back missed Wednesday’s reverse fixture at Old Trafford due to illness, but the boss believes there is a chance he could feature at Elland Road tomorrow afternoon.
Ten Hag discusses the potential for Aaron to return during his matchday Q&A with club media, which you will be able to see in full on Sunday morning.
“Yesterday (Wednesday) he wasn’t there by illness, so I hope he can return for Sunday.”
Before missing the first Roses encounter, Aaron had previously started 11 of United’s first 12 games across all competitions since the World Cup break, coming on as a first-half substitute after Diogo Dalot picked up his injury against Charlton in the other.
Dalot was able to return to the starting XI from that problem in midweek, playing 82 minutes and providing the assist for Marcus Rashford’s headed goal that made it 1-2.
In his pre-match press conference, the manager ruled the injured Anthony Martial, Antony and Scott McTominay out again for tomorrow’s game, while Casemiro is suspended, and midfield duo Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek are long-term absentees.
For the rest of the squad, the focus since the 2-2 draw with Leeds will have been all about preparation for the return meeting, which comes around in quick succession as our fourth game already in February, of eight in total.

“This is the rhythm we are in, and players like to do that, play football games, it betters training, so in this moment we are happy to do it.”
