Zak Dearnley has signed a new contract with Manchester United, as he prepares for the new season with Ricky Sbragia's Under-23s squad.

The 19-year-old appeared 19 times in total for Sbragia's side during 2017/18, scoring once - at Old Trafford in the 4-0 victory over Sunderland in April. After coming through the ranks at the club, he also has experience of finding the net in the FA Youth Cup at the Theatre of Dreams.

A lively forward who is capable of exploiting space down the flanks, he will be out to make an impact in Premier League 2 when the action gets under way again in earnest.

Zak Dearnley takes a breather from pre-season training.

Dearnley is taking part in a training camp in Obertraun in Austria as the Reds are working hard to ensure everything is in place for the new campaign.

He helped United win the ICGT trophy in the Netherlands at the end of last term and will be feeling confident of making his mark, after agreeing fresh terms with the club.
