An England Under-17 international, Bendito scored four times in the 5-2 victory in the Under-18s' game against Blackburn Rovers in March 2024. In total, he played nine games for Adam Lawrence's side and bagged six goals. The Mancunian also made two outings for the Under-21s in 2023/24. He scored seven goals in 11 U18s league appearances in the following campaign, while representing the U21s on five occasions in Premier League 2. He also began to gain experience in first-team training, and was subsequently included in Ruben Amorim's squad for Tour 2025, presented by Snapdragon, in the USA. After representing England at the U17 World Cup, Mantato made his Premier League debut, aged 17, on Boxing Day 2025.
