A full-back that wants to contribute at both ends of the pitch, Hannah Blundell arrived from Chelsea with four WSL titles and nearly a decade of top-flight experience to her name.
The defender spent time in the youth setups at Brighton and Charlton Athletic as a youngster, but it was at Chelsea where she became an academy graduate, making her first-team debut back in May 2013 at the age of 19.
Having broken into the senior setup, Blundell was nominated for the PFA Women’s Young Player of the Year award in both 2014 and 2015 while winning the club’s own YPOTY accolade in the latter, alongside former team-mate Millie Bright, as the Blues celebrated winning both the Women’s Super League and the Women’s FA Cup for the first time in their history.
They were the first of 10 trophies that the 27-year-old helped to claim during her time in the capital, while she was also a member of Emma Hayes’ squad that were 2021 Women's Champions League finalists.
Along with bringing top experience in domestic and European competitions, Blundell been capped for England at senior level.
She showed impressive creativity early on in her United career, providing assists for both goals in a 2-0 win at Birmingham in October 2021.
