Biography
Growing up in Salford, Jayce Fitzgerald has played for Manchester United since his childhood.
The midfielder played six times for our Under-21s during the 2023/24 campaign. He made a further 16 appearances for the Under-18s, scoring three times as Adam Lawrence's team won the title and Premier League Cup. Jayce was a regular across our UEFA Youth League, FA Youth Cup and U18 Premier League squads in 2024/25, as well as further U21s experience and plenty of time training with the senior set-up. Interim head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy gave the midfielder a first inclusion in a senior matchday squad in our 5-2 Carabao Cup victory over Leicester City in October 2024, and the teenager retained that spot for the home Premier League fixture against Chelsea.
