Bryan Mbeumo joined Manchester United in July 2025, after establishing himself as one of the Premier League's best attackers at Brentford.
The Bees signed Mbeumo from French side Troyes in 2019 and he helped the Londoners gain promotion to the top-flight two years later. Mbeumo became an indispensable part of Thomas Frank's attack, as Brentford punched above their weight in the division and international recognition soon followed. Despite representing France at youth level, Bryan opted to play for Cameroon - the country of his father - and he was picked in the Africans' squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. 2024/25 was a standout season for Mbeumo, as he registered 27 goal involvements, including 20 goals, for the Bees, and he soon became the second senior arrival of the summer at Old Trafford, following the capture of Matheus Cunha in June.
