Netherlands international Joshua Zirkzee joined United in the summer of 2024 from Serie A side Bologna, where he had been named in the league’s Team of the Year.
After making his senior international debut at Euro 2024, he made the perfect start to life in Manchester, scoring the winning goal on his Premier League debut against Fulham at Old Trafford. Comfortable playing as a number nine or 10, Josh has great ability on the ball and added a further six goals to his United tally before the season was out.
Competition was fierce throughout 2025/26, but our no.11 still stamped his mark on the campaign, notching a smart equaliser away at Crystal Palace, a game we went on to win, with the Dutchman's name being sang to the tune of 'One More Time' by Daft Punk after the final whistle.
