A proven winner in English football, Dominique Janssen arrived at Manchester United in the summer of 2024.
Janssen’s first steps in professional football came with German outfit SGS Essen, but she truly made a name for herself after making the switch to England with Arsenal. That stint saw her pick up everything there is to win in the domestic game, including an FA Cup, two League Cups, and a WSL title in 2018/19 - her final season with the club. The defender’s next move took her to German heavyweights VfL Wolfsburg and the trophies - two Frauen Bundesliga titles and three DFB-Pokals - kept rolling in. She also reached the Champions League final twice with the club, unfortunately falling to defeat against Lyon and Barcelona. She has also made her mark on the international stage with the Netherlands, comfortably earning over 100 caps for her country and playing her part in their Euro 2017 triumph, and joined United in July 2024, helping the Reds to the Adobe Women's FA Cup final in her debut campaign.
