2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Golden Boot winner Hinata Miyazawa is a dynamic midfielder, equipped with a wealth of experience and international pedigree.
Hinata rose to prominence on the world’s biggest stage at the tournament in Australia and New Zealand, having previously played her entire club career in her home country of Japan, before making the move to United as a 23-year-old.
Her debut season ended with silverware as she fought back from injury to contribute to our FA Cup triumph in 2024, and has become an increasingly important component of our midfield ever since.
Also vital to Japan's operation, she took some time away from domestic football during the 2025/26 season as she registered five goal involvements in her home country's run to Asian Cup victory, sealed with a 1-0 win over Australia in the final. In December 2025, Hini signed a new long-term contract with United which runs through to June 2029.
