Liverpool's John Lennon Airport also provides train or coach connections to Manchester, plus you can always consider a train from London stations.
Trams to Old Trafford run throughout the day from both Piccadilly and Victoria stations in Manchester's city centre. Nearby tram stops are approximately a ten minute walk to the stadium. More information can be found on the Metrolink website. Consult National Rail Enquiries for the latest train times.
