Following our 2-0 win in normal time, Manchester United have also won the exhibition penalty shootout which followed the 90-minute match in New Jersey this evening. Nine penalties were taken overall, with all five United takers - Casemiro, Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Marcus Rashford and Christian Eriksen - all successfully converting. Tom Heaton was close to getting a hand to Leandro Trossard’s effort, when he stepped up for Arsenal’s second spot kick, but the decisive moment came when Fabio Vieira stepped up for our opponents' next effort from 12 yards - and the Portuguese fired over. Eriksen fired home what proved to be the final penalty, confidently into the bottom left corner, to confirm our victory in the shootout.

United continue our 100 per cent record during pre-season so far, with an impressive 2-0 win over fellow Premier League side Arsenal. First-half goals from Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho were enough to secure the win in front of an 82,000 crowd in the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. A number of our Reds have gained valuable first minutes of pre-season in tonight's friendly, and although it won't affect the result, there will now be an exhibition penalty shootout to follow.
