Manchester United face Arsenal at Old Trafford today in the opening fixture of the 2025/26 Premier League season at Theatre of Dreams.
Here is all the essential pre-match information for you to know, if you have tickets for the match...
Paying respects to Diogo Jota and Andre Silva
Ahead of kick-off at Old Trafford, Manchester United will hold a minute’s silence in memory of Diogo Jota and his brother, Andre Silva. We ask all supporters to join us in paying their respects, as we stand together to honour their lives and to offer our deepest condolences to their family, friends, and all those affected by this tragic loss.
Pop-up Pub opens its doors for the first time
The Pop-Up Pub opens its doors at Old Trafford for the very first time today. Located behind the Stretford End, it will be a place for supporters to come together pre-match, enjoy food and drink, and soak up the atmosphere before heading inside to cheer on the team. There will be giveaways from our official partners and a Q&A with Denis Irwin moderated by Alan Keegan. The doors open at 13:30 BST and will remain open for one hour after the final whistle.
Fan-led flag display
Today’s return to Old Trafford will be marked by a fan-led flag display in the Stretford End, organised by The Red Army. The sea of red, white and black will set the stage for kick-off, creating a powerful visual show of unity and passion. We thank everyone involved for their efforts in bringing this to life and invite all fans to play their part in making the atmosphere unforgettable.
Ticketing information
Supporters are reminded that in-app digital ticketing is now the only method of stadium entry at Old Trafford. Tickets can be accessed directly through the official Manchester United app, making entry quicker, safer, and more convenient. We encourage all fans to download their tickets in advance and ensure their devices are fully charged before arriving at the stadium – tickets will show in the app three hours before kick-off.
A reminder to support the team in the right way
As always, we ask all supporters to represent Manchester United in the right way by showing respect to fellow fans, players, officials, and visitors to Old Trafford. Creating a safe, inclusive and positive environment is at the heart of our matchday experience, and together we can ensure Old Trafford remains a place where everyone feels welcome and proud to support the team. Any form of discrimination will not be tolerated, and we thank all fans for playing their part in upholding the values of our club.
