Manchester United defender Ayden Heaven has been named our Player of the Month for December.
The 19-year-old has been in inspired form across a busy period for the Reds, when injuries to both Harry Maguire and Matthijs de Ligt presented an opportunity at the heart of the defence.
Ever since, Heaven has performed with maturity beyond his years, most notably helping us keep a clean sheet with a Man-of-the-Match display against Newcastle United on Boxing Day.
Switched on to threats some of the Premier League's finest attacks have brought against him, fans have taken to Ayden's displays by naming him our best performer across the final month of 2025.
Senne Lammens finished in second spot, with Matheus Cuna third.
Having made only three first-team appearances before December, Heaven kept his sharpness by appearing for our Under-21s.
Ready when the chance presented itself, the former Arsenal man stepped in to start against West Ham United, in the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
The teenager then played 69 minutes in the dominant 4-1 display at Wolves just a few days later, before four consecutive stars rounded off the month.
His most notable outing in red, to date, was against the Magpies, as we posted only our second clean sheet of the season, with Ayden excelling at the back.
With the experienced Lisandro Martinez beside him, Heaven made eight clearances on the evening, keeping out Eddie Howe's side, especially during the second half.
He also completed 34/36 accurate passes playing out from the back, helping Ruben's side break the lines from defence to midfield and push up the pitch at vital junctures.
Despite the disappointing 1-1 scoreline against Wolves to end the year, the England Under-20 international again did well.
He won all six of his ground duels across a 75-minute appearance, as well as completing 4/5 accurate long passes (80%).
Who can also forget his brilliant tackle to win the ball on halfway, passing forwards, where Joshua Zirkzee found the back of the net to open the scoring.
It's been a brilliant month for the centre-back, and we hope to see much more of him and his courageous defending in 2026.
Congratulations, Ayden!
