At the end of the 2022/23 season we asked you which individual performance by a Manchester United player was the best from our campaign.
Was it Lisandro Martinez's totemic effort in the 2-1 win over Liverpool which kickstarted the Erik ten Hag era?
Or perhaps you voted for Casemiro's commanding display in the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle?
Read on to find out which performance, and which United player, topped our fan poll...
RASHFORD LIGHTS UP THE NOU CAMP
Earning 22 per cent of the vote, Marcus Rashford's display away to Barcelona in the Europa League play-off first leg in February was the showing that the majority of our fans believe is the best individual performance by any Red in 2022/23.
It's hard to argue against this verdict, with Marcus's lightning pace, power and precision evident throughout.
After United had gone a goal behind, to a Marcos Alonso header, Rashford breezed past the Barcelona defence before arrowing a finish beyond Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Moments later, our no.10 fired a pacey ball across goal, which Jules Kounde converted into his own net.
The match ultimately ended 2-2, but in the second 45 minutes at the Nou Camp, in particular, Marcus made the world sit up and take notice of him - not for the first time either.
THE BEST OF THE REST
Lisandro Martinez's performance in our 2-1 triumph over Liverpool at Old Trafford in August - our first win of the season - came a close second to Rashford with 20 per cent of the voting.
This was arguably the match in which the Argentinian defender announced himself to the United faithful, endearing himself quickly to the supporters with his tough tackling and unrelenting passion.
The fans inside Old Trafford certainly enjoyed his scuffles with multiple Liverpool players too.
Two other displays gained double-figures in terms of percentages, with Rashford scoring twice and registering an assist in United's 3-1 triumph over Arsenal at Old Trafford - our second consecutive home victory of 2022/23, after the aforementioned Liverpool victory.
Casemiro's dominant performance against Chelsea in May was vital in United's emphatic 4-1 victory over the Blues, that confirmed Champions League qualification for Erik ten Hag's side, and thus 11 per cent of our supporters believe it was the best any of our players mustered this season.
The Brazilian's contribution to our Carabao Cup final win over Newcastle has the next-highest percentage (nine), with Aaron Wan-Bissaka's stern defensive showing away at his former club Crystal Palace gaining eight per cent.
Rounding off the 10 nominated performances was Alejandro Garnacho's display versus West Ham in the FA Cup (five per cent), Sabitzer's brace against Sevilla in the Europa League (five per cent), and Bruno Fernandes's showing in our 2-0 home victory over Tottenham (four per cent).
Thank you to everyone who voted, and here's to some more devastating displays in 2023/24.
