The date, kick-off time and broadcast information have been confirmed for Manchester United’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup quarter-final away to Brighton & Hove Albion.
United were paired with the Seagulls in Monday’s last-eight draw, following last weekend’s fifth-round victory at Southampton.
The tie will take place on Saturday 9 March at 17:15 GMT and be shown live on The FA Player. Further details about tickets will be released in due course.
Next month’s meeting will be our third with Brighton this season, having already met with the fellow top-flight outfit twice in the Women’s Super League in 2023/24.
Earlier in February, the Reds triumphed 2-0 at Leigh Sports Village, courtesy of a brace from top scorer Nikita Parris.
Back in November, there was late drama at the Broadfield Stadium – where the quarter-final will be played – as a 98th-minute equaliser from Rachel Williams ensured we claimed a point from an entertaining 2-2 draw.
Our upcoming hosts have beaten Luton Town and Wolves, both on the road, to reach this point in the competition.
It will be the second successive term that Marc Skinner’s Reds will go head-to-head with the south-coast side in the FA Cup, following last year’s thrilling 3-2 win at the semi-final stage.
