Manchester United will be aiming to strengthen our position inside the Barclays Women’s Super League’s top two when we travel to Leicester City on Saturday.
Kick-off in the East Midlands is at 12:00 GMT, and we’ve rounded up everything else you need to know below…
HOW TO WATCH AND FOLLOW
A limited number of our 1,841 allocated tickets for the fixture remain – click here for prices and the latest availability.
There are also spaces up for grabs on the fan coach provided by official partner One Club United, offering a return journey from Old Trafford.
If you are not making the trip, supporters in the UK can watch the action on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
We will also have live radio commentary on ManUtd.com, along with updates fed into the United App coverage of United’s Premier League fixture against Spurs, kicking off at 12:30 GMT.
Gabby George and Fridolina Rolfo returned from recent spells on the sidelines, against Liverpool, with Rolfo getting our third goal in the win.
If all is well following their comebacks, both should be available at the weekend, although we should get a concrete team-news update when head coach Marc Skinner conducts his pre-match media duties on Thursday morning.
The boss may address the fitness of Leah Galton (back) and Ella Toone (hip), with the pair yet to feature in 2026 due to their respective injuries.
THE OPPOSITION
Leicester will have had nearly a fortnight without a game come kick-off time, after their scheduled match against Arsenal last weekend was postponed due to the Gunners’ involvement in the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.
It means they have had some time to work on the training pitch after three losses to start the new year, and an opportunity to integrate the five signings they made in the winter window.
One of those is former United striker Rachel Williams, who has played in each of the Foxes’ last two outings, after departing the Reds following three-and-a-half seasons.
Williams was a United player when the two squads last met on the opening weekend of the season, in September, as Skinner’s team triumphed 4-0 on a rainy afternoon in Leigh, thanks to goals from Toone, Elisabeth Terland and Melvine Malard (two).
Rick Passmoor's charges currently occupy 10th position in the 12-team top-flight table, and will be hoping to increase the gap on bottom side Liverpool, which currently stands at two points.
Our encounter is the WSL’s only offering on Saturday, before five fixtures on Sunday, including a blockbuster battle between fourth-placed Arsenal and leaders Manchester City.
