Manchester United will face Serie A side Fiorentina on 9 August, in what will be our final pre-season outing before the 2025/26 Premier League campaign gets under way.
Our clash with the Tuscans could present the first chance for United fans to get a glimpse of new signing Matheus Cunha, who joined the club from Wolves earlier this month.
With the chance for a potential reunion with former goalkeeper David De Gea too, tickets are already on sale and you can follow this link to secure your seat for the friendly contest.
Dubbed as the fifth and final fixture of 'Tour 2025', the Reds will have returned from our pre-season endeavours in the United States, where games are scheduled against West Ham, Bournemouth and Everton.
HOW TO WATCH
Every game during pre-season will be shown live on MUTV, so there really is no better time than now to subscribe and watch Ruben Amorim's side in action this summer.
Coverage will also be available on ManUtd.com and in our Official App, for those of you wanting to tune in from around the world.
Our clash with the Italian outfit kicks off at Old Trafford at 12:45 BST on Saturday 9 August and the winners of the game at the Theatre of Dreams will be crowned champions of the Snapdragon Cup.
Tickets are available, now and we can't wait to see you back in M16 soon, should you choose to come along.
OUR OPPONENTS
Fiorentina finished sixth in Serie A last season, securing their passage into the UEFA Conference League.
La Viola have won the Italian top-flight twice in their esteemed history, as well as the now-defunct Cup Winners' Cup.
Of course their most notable current player is ex-United goalkeeper De Gea, who spent 12 years with the Reds between 2011 and 2023.
United played Fiorentina in the group stages of the Champions League in the 1999/2000 season. The Italian side were 2-0 winners in Florence, before United responded with a 3-1 win at Old Trafford with goals from Andy Cole, Roy Keane and Dwight Yorke.
Gabriel Batistuta scored in both legs, including one of the best European strikes seen by an away player at Old Trafford.
A FIRST CHANCE TO SEE CUNHA
Most United fans will be waiting with bated breath to see new signing Cunha in action at Old Trafford.
Cunha has played in M16 a few times before for Wolves, but this could be your first chance to glimpe him there in Red, should he be chosen by Amorim..
“Only in my grandma's house, we can watch the Premier League, so we organised to go every weekend. And for me, it was always a bit inside of me, this club,”
said Cunha during his first interview as a United player earlier this month.
“When I play with [my cousin] in the street, on the beach, on the gravel pitch, we called these pitches 'Old Trafford.' Imagine.”
We can't wait to see the Brazil international in action and we are sure many of you out there share the same sentiment too.
WHO ELSE CAN WE EXPECT TO SEE?
Plenty of other United stars will be in action too, with there even the potential for more new signings before the Fiorentina game swings around.
Fresh from the United States, Amorim and his team will then have just eight days to prepare for Arsenal's visit on the opening day of the season.
