Turner misses Brighton clash through injury

Manchester United Women head coach Casey Stoney has announced her side to play Brighton and Hove Albion Women in the quarter-finals of the Continental League Cup.

The Reds have lined up with Mary Earps between the sticks and a back four of Martha Harris, Abbie McManus, Amy Turner and Kirsty Smith.

Ahead of them, Stoney has selected Hayley Ladd, Katie Zelem and Ella Toone, while Kirsty Hanson, Jane Ross and Jess Sigsworth will make a up a front three.

However, one player who will miss out is defender Millie Turner, after she picked up a knock in training recently.

Wednesday's game will, therefore, be the first she has ever missed for the Women's team.
