Manchester United Women midfielder Emma Watson has joined Tigres on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season, subject to registration.
Emma was recalled from her spell at Crystal Palace earlier this month, having played six times for the Eagles in WSL2.
She will now gain experience in Liga MX Femenil for the second part of the campaign, and Marc Skinner hopes she can get minutes on the pitch and develop over in Mexico.
“This a different type of experience for Emma, which will also help her grow,”
he told reporters on Tuesday.
“In this next block, we need her to play, because I want her to realise the great talent she is.”
Watson made her debut for the Reds in November 2024, in a Women's League Cup group-stage clash with Everton.
She scored her first United goal later in the same competition, against Newcastle United, before joining the Toffees on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
Everyone at the club wishes Emma all the best in her next temporary switch.
