Manchester United Women can today confirm the signing of French international Aissatou Tounkara on a contract running until the end of the 2023/24 season.
Aissatou swaps Spain for England, having spent four seasons with Primera Division Femenina side Atletico de Madrid Femenino.
The 27-year-old defender featured for France at this summer’s UEFA Women’s European Championships, reaching the semi-final stage of the competition.

On signing, Aissatou said:
