The latest issue of Manchester United’s official monthly magazine is now on sale.
It’s been a campaign where we have been United by name and united by nature, and that’s something that is celebrated both on the mag’s front cover and inside, with a special feature saluting that strong connection between players, supporters and club.
The winger reviews his first season (so far) as a United player, picking out his favourite matches and goals, detailing what he’s learned about what it takes to compete in the Premier League, and promising supporters that he has plenty more to offer in future as he continues to develop and work on his game.
The Argentinian recently signed a new long-term contract, and on the day he did so he also sat down to give a revealing interview – which you can read in full in the magazine.
It’s heart-warming to know that the youngster will be a United player for many years to come, and to hear in his own words how proud he is to wear the red shirt and how determined he is to keep on contributing to the cause and improving.
David Beckham played his last game (and scored his last goal) for United 20 years ago, so there’s a pictorial homage to Becks that tells the story of his sensational Reds career.
Wes Brown, meanwhile, was making a first-team debut 25 years ago, so Inside United meets up with Wes at Old Trafford where it all began to talk about the defender’s distinguished years as a Red – complete with a couple of Champions League-winning experiences.
There’s loads more packed into the issue, including a bumper Emirates FA Cup final preview, reporting on United Women’s dramatic finale to the season, an enlightening trawl through some of our loan imports down the years (Laurie Cunningham and Garth Crooks, for example), supporters' stories and plenty else.
Inside United June 2023 issue is on sale in newsagents and shops, at the Megastore at Old Trafford, around the stadium on matchdays, and can be bought or subscribed to online here.
