Ole reveals team news for Granada

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an insight into his team plans for the visit of Granada on Thursday.

The Reds approach the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final 2-0 ahead, following goals by Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes in Spain.

Three players are definitely out through suspension - Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay - after receiving yellow cards in the first leg.

“It's never a positive thing to not have every player available,” said Ole. “But we've got players ready to deputise and come into the team. Of course, the [bookings] amnesty is after this quarter-final so we hoped to get them through but there are some easy easy yellow cards there that the referee handed out. But we're ready to deal with that.

“We have to make sure that we get through. I always pick a team to win a game. There will be a few changes; some of them are forced and some of them are maybe rotation.”

In an exclusive interview with club media, the manager elaborated on individuals.

Daniel James is fit, despite missing the win at Tottenham through injury, but Marcus Rashford had to sit out training on Wednesday and is, therefore, doubtful for the tie.

“Yes Marcus didn’t train this morning so I’ll have to give him as much time as possible, his foot is still a little bit sore, but fingers crossed he is available tomorrow,” the manager said.

“Dan James is back. He trained this morning so he should be available. Of course, we’ve lost a few through suspension for this game against Granada.”

Eric Bailly has travelled back to Manchester but is unavailable, although Juan Mata is training well and ready to play against his fellow countrymen.

Young defender Will Fish has been added to the squad.

Kenedy is also due to come to Manchester although there have been some doubts over his availability due to injury.
