Women's Player of the Month: Vote now

It’s time to cast your vote for Manchester United Women’s Player of the Month in March.

The Reds beat Leicester City in the league and then progressed to a third successive Adobe FA Cup semi-final by defeating Sunderland 3-1.

Despite suffering a 3-1 reverse at Liverpool, we swiftly recovered from that blip and kept a firm grip on our place in the WSL’s top three, as Aston Villa and Everton were dispatched with the minimum of fuss.

After four wins from five, 12 goals and three clean sheets, a number of Reds could have been in the running for this particular prize.

But we’ve narrowed the shortlist down to three, so scroll down to read their credentials and to vote for your pick…

Poll: Who is your United Women Player of the Month for March?

GRACE CLINTON

Clinton’s outrageous long-distance goal at Aston Villa is the undoubted headline-grabber, with the midfielder channelling a fellow Liverpudlian in Wayne Rooney by finding the net from close to the centre-circle.

Grace then added her seventh of the season during the 2-0 win over Everton at Leigh, later being awarded Player of the Match for her efforts. Only Elisabeth Terland has scored more goals for the Reds in the WSL this term.

Clinton is bidding for a third award win of 2024/25, having got the nod from fans in September and October too.

LEAH GALTON

Leah has previous when it comes to winning this award, most recently coming out on top in April 2023.

One of United’s most consistent attacking performers, Galton scored three times during March, doubling our advantage over Leicester, before setting us on our way at Sunderland the following week.

She also made it on to the scoresheet at Villa and showed she can provide too, when teeing up Clinton to be on target against the Toffees.

ELISABETH TERLAND

February’s winner had another impressive month in front of goal, with the Norwegian scoring twice in the opening half-hour at Villa Park, to set us on the way to our 4-0 victory.

Terland, who now has 11 goals and five assists during her maiden United campaign, was later voted as United’s top performer and, if we are to finish in the top three and claim that coveted Champions League spot, her involvement will have proven crucial.

Cast your vote before Friday 4 April, when the poll will close. We'll announce the winner at a later date.
