What’s happening at United this week?

Manchester United is primed for a crucially important week in both the Premier League and the Women’s Super League.

Erik ten Hag’s side have two home fixtures to contend with, Chelsea and then Fulham, knowing that one point from either match would guarantee Champions League football for next season.

United Women, on the other hand, are still vying for the WSL title. Marc Skinner’s team face Liverpool on the final day and go into that game just two points behind league leaders Chelsea.

Here's a guide to the next seven days...

United Women 2 Manchester City 1

MONDAY

We begin the week by continuing to react to United Women’s huge derby victory over Manchester City on Sunday, with reaction from Skinner, Millie Turner and Lucia Garcia.

The latest edition of UTD Podcast will be released, with our former goalkeeping coach Eric Steele in the hotseat. The podcast will be available exclusively to watch or listen to on ManUtd.com and in the United App from 17:00 BST.

The Reds have won the FA Cup twice on this date in our history. In 1999, Sir Alex Ferguson's men beat Newcastle United en route to the Treble; in 2004, Millwall were the team we defeated at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

This day would also have been George Best’s 77th birthday. We'll never forget his genius.

TUESDAY

We begin to look ahead to Thursday’s clash with Chelsea, with previews and early team news.

The Reds will be out on the Carrington training pitches preparing for the visit from Frank Lampard's side, and images and updates from the session will be available to view and read across our platforms.

The latest episode of our weekly panel show, The Debate, will drop on Tuesday evening, with journalists and former players tackling the major talking points at United and looking forward to the upcoming fixtures.

WEDNESDAY

Erik ten Hag will conduct his pre-match press conference for our Premier League fixture against Chelsea, with the full media briefing available to watch on ManUtd.com and in our app.

On 24 May 2017, goals from Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan sealed our 2-0 victory over Ajax in the final of the Europa League.

Happy birthday to Reds legend Eric Cantona, and current United Women winger Leah Galton.

THURSDAY

Ahead of the evening clash with Chelsea, you can watch and read our exclusive Q&A with the manager.

At 20:00 BST, Ten Hag’s side will take on West London's Blues at Old Trafford in our penultimate league match of the season, looking to secure at least the one point that would confirm our final place in the top four.

The game is being shown live in the UK on Sky Sports but United fans worldwide can enjoy expert insight and analysis before the match and after the final whistle via our Match Day Live show on MUTV, ManUtd.com and our app. The broadcast will begin at 18:55 BST, and will include live radio commentary throughout the 90 minutes.

Happy birthday to United Women defender Hannah Blundell!

FRIDAY

Reaction to the game against Chelsea will continue, and you will be able to watch extended match highlights or even the full 90 minutes.

Attentions will quickly turn to Sunday, though, with Fulham visiting Old Trafford then in our final league fixture of the 2022/23 campaign.

Ten Hag’s pre-match press conference will again be available to view and read about on ManUtd.com and in our app.

This date is iconic in United history, with 26 May being the day in 1999 when we came back from 0-1 down to beat Bayern Munich 2-1 at the Nou Camp and lift the Champions League trophy as we became the first English club to complete the Treble.

Also on this day in history, the Reds won the FA Cup in 1983, with a 4-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion. The competition was settled by this replay, five days after the first meeting ended 2-2.

Legendary manager Sir Matt Busby was born on this day in 1909. Another legend that will always be remembered by United fans all over the globe.

SATURDAY

The WSL season comes to its conclusion, with United Women in second place visiting Liverpool, while leaders Chelsea take their two-point advantage to relegation-threatened Reading.

The action kicks off at 14:30 BST, and you can listen to MUTV's live radio commentary and follow regular updates on ManUtd.com and in our app. We will also be building up to kick-off with our Match Day Live show from 14:00 BST, with reaction to follow immediately after full-time.

The second part of Erik’s press conference, ahead of Sunday’s clash with Fulham, will be published on Saturday evening.

SUNDAY

Ten Hag’s final Matchday Q&A of the Premier League campaign will be available for you to watch and read about, before Fulham visit Old Trafford, with the match kicking off at 16:30 BST.

The game will not be shown live on TV in the UK but, as always, you can listen to live radio commentary on MUTV, ManUtd.com and the app, while our Match Day Live show will provide pre-match build-up from 15:25 BST and post-match reaction. Match highlights will be published two hours after full-time.

We will also be celebrating a special anniversary for United Women, marking five years since the team's reformation was approved on 28 May 2018. It’s been quite the ride since!
