The date and time for the Emirates FA Cup quarter-final draw has been confirmed, and it is set to take place ahead of Manchester United’s tie with Nottingham Forest.
The last-eight draw is scheduled to be conducted from 19:00 GMT, 45 minutes before our game at The City Ground gets under way.
Meanwhile, Forest v United will be broadcast live on BBC One from The City Ground, where our all-time record goalscorer Wayne Rooney will be part of the TV studio line-up.
On Monday evening, the fifth round kicked off with Championship side Coventry City advancing to the last eight for the first time since 2009, following a 5-0 victory over sixth-tier Maidstone United, who were the lowest-ranked team left in the tournament.
Three teams were confirmed on Tuesday night, with Championship leaders Leicester City upsetting Bournemouth, Manchester City beating Luton Town 6-2 and Newcastle United edging past Blackburn Rovers via a penalty shootout.
The quarter-final stage is due to be played across the weekend of 16/17 March, with Ten Hag’s Reds currently set to host Sheffield United in the Premier League on the Saturday.
A United win against Forest would see that Old Trafford game rescheduled. Next month's international break will immediately follow the dates above.
