We hope you’re looking forward to your Old Trafford Museum and Tour! Here’s everything you need to know before your visit...
You must arrive at the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand reception at least 20 minutes before your tour starts. We recommend you arrive 30 to 60 minutes before and have a look around the museum before your tour begins. Please note, if your tour is booked for 3pm or later you must visit the museum first as it will be closed by the time your tour is finished.
Upon arrival at the stadium your bags will need to be security checked and there may be queues at reception, so the earlier you can arrive, the better. This is particularly recommended on days before and after home matchdays when we are busier than usual.
WHAT DO I DO ONCE I'VE ARRIVED?
We will welcome you at the reception desk of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, where you will be able to collect your tickets and lanyards before taking the lifts or escalators to the museum on level 3.
From there, you can make your way through the museum, exploring each level as you head towards the meeting point for the stadium tour, which is located on level 1 of the museum. That is where you will need to meet your tour guides five minutes before the start of your tour.
If you arrive late, it may not be possible for you to be added on to your tour in the stadium.

The museum is spread over three levels. Here's what you will find on each one...

THE STADIUM TOUR
The stadium tour provides a high-quality experience, where you will have access to stunning views of the stadium’s interior and locations which take you behind the scenes at our historic home. The route takes you through several storied hotspots, including the players' dressing room, tunnel, the pitchside dugouts and the press conference room.
HOW LONG WILL THE MUSEUM & TOUR TAKE?
The tour is approximately 70 minutes and we recommend spending at least 20 minutes on each floor of the museum, so around two hours in total.
IS THERE FOOD AND DRINK AVAILABLE?
Old Trafford's Red Cafe is situated next to the Museum & Tour entrance in the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand, and is open from 10am to 4pm daily.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?
Yes, you are welcome to take as many pictures and short videos as you like in all areas except the press conference room. If you would like to take a physical copy of our professional photos with you, you can add a photo souvenir booklet on to your booking when you arrive at the tour.
