Manchester United is delighted to announce that Anthony Elanga has signed a new long-term contract with the club.

The 18-year-old, who has been with United since the age of 12, won the Jimmy Murphy Youth Team Player of the Year award last season.
It's been a busy time behind the scenes at the Aon Training Complex.
The exciting winger has played for Neil Wood’s Under-23s side throughout the season, featuring 16 times, scoring eight goals and registering three assists.

The Sweden youth international is another product of United’s outstanding Academy system. His father, Joseph, played at the 1998 World Cup finals for Cameroon, before having a couple of spells with Malmo.

The news follows the announcement that fellow Academy player Hannibal signed his long-term deal on Monday.

Elanga will be looking to hone his talents behind the scenes and maintain his development at the club in the coming months and years.
