Manchester United fans on YouTube have been paying tribute to an inspirational supporter called Zac, who was recently surprised by Rasmus Hojlund at Old Trafford.

The courageous young Reds fan has been busy raising money for epilepsy, after he was diagnosed with the condition back in 2020.

Showing a great deal of dedication, Zac set himself a challenge to run at least a mile a day every day for a whole year and, impressively, totalled 830 miles! The 13-year-old United supporter raised over £73,000 for Young Epilepsy and St Piers.

HEROES UNITED | See how Rasmus Hojlund surprised a young Red called Zac, in collaboration with The One Show on BBC...

Zac's efforts didn't go unnoticed and the BBC's The One Show recently surprised him with his very own ‘One Big Thank You’.

As you can see in the video above, Zac thought he was accompanying his dad to a business meeting in Manchester, but he ended up coming face to face with one of his footballing heroes.

The video has touched the hearts of fans around the world and, in our YouTube comments section, many supporters are saluting Zac’s efforts.
@ManUnitedNZ-ng5jw: Zac is an incredible young man doing great things for others. Doesn't let his diagnosis get him down but uses it to inspire and help others. He will go places. Lovely gesture from the club and Rasmus.

@Keiron-pw6sl: What an amazing young man Zac is and, Rasmus, we love you.
