How to buy Player Trading Cards
Manchester United fans can now begin collecting Player Trading Cards - a fresh series of hand-drawn digital collectibles for 2024/25, representing every member of our men’s squad.
Each player has a Classic, Rare and Ultra-Rare card, which come in strikingly different colour schemes, depending on their respective rarities.
The cards, which you can buy in randomised packs of seven for just £3, are not just nice to look at either, they display live statistics that will update over the course of the season and are eligible to be used in our newly launched fantasy football game, Fantasy United.
With all that in mind, there is plenty to be excited about and, if you are wondering how you can kickstart your trading-card journey ahead of the new season, check out our step-by-step guide to buying Player Trading Card packs below…

Take your love for the Reds to the next level this season, with Player Trading Cards and Fantasy United...
STEP ONE: VISIT MANUTD.COM/PLAYERCARDS
Start with a visit to manutd.com/playercards, where you will see ‘24/25 PLAYER TRADING CARDS’ and get a first look at the card designs of two Reds you may hope to see in your first pack: Alejandro Garnacho and Andre Onana.
STEP TWO: SELECT BUY A PACK
Next, you will want to select ‘BUY A PACK’, which will send you to the purchase page where you will be able to choose how many seven-card packs you would like to buy.
STEP THREE: SIGN IN
After opting to pay by card or using the Tez currency - both of which are an option for Player Trading Cards - you will be asked to sign in. Here you can either connect via a social media account or a wallet that you already have. Alternatively, you can create a new Tezos wallet to store your collectibles in.
STEP FOUR: COMPLETE YOUR PURCHASE
Follow the simple on-screen payment steps to complete your pack purchase.
STEP FIVE: OPEN YOUR PACK
The exciting bit! Which Reds will you get? Will there be any blue Rares or gold Ultra-Rares in there? Tap ‘OPEN PACK’ and choose to reveal the cards one by one by tapping on them individually, or all at once by pressing ‘REVEAL WHOLE PACK’. Here, you will also have the option to return to the purchase page and continue growing your collection, by clicking ‘BUY NEXT PACK’.
STEP SIX: VIEW YOUR COLLECTION
Once you’ve finished opening, press ‘VIEW IN MY COLLECTION’ to see all of your Player Trading Cards in one place. Here, you can sort them by position and rarity, get a closer look at the card and view its dynamic stats. You will find your new cards alongside any previous Manchester United collectibles you may own by tapping the ‘MY PROFILE’ tab at the top of the page.
STEP SEVEN: PLAY FANTASY UNITED
Fancy using your new cards to compete with the collections of your friends, family and United fans around the world? Click the ‘FANTASY’ button in the top-right corner to head to the Fantasy United page, where you can craft a five-man line-up that will score points based on the real-life actions of your chosen Reds, in matches across all competitions for Erik ten Hag’s side, starting with our Premier League opener against Fulham on Friday 16 August.
