United Predictions is back!
Sunday marks the start of a new Manchester United season, and our Predictions game is back, too.
Arsenal are the first opposition we'll face in the top flight this season, and the Gunners' visit coincides with an exciting opportunity to win a 2025/26 signed home shirt.
All you need to do to be in with a chance of claiming this prize is enter our weekly United Predictions game - those who play are automatically eligible to win.
Just make sure you're signed in to the United App, before making your guesses about what will happen when Mikel Arteta's men come to town.
As a reminder, the categories for the game start with the line-up, with users awarded five points for each player they select who is also in Ruben Amorim's XI. A matching formation pick is also worth 10 points.
The remaining three categories - correct score, first scorer and Man of the Match - are each worth 20 points, so there is plenty of opportunity to make amends if you don't get the team quite right.
Every month, fans with the most points also have the chance to win a £100 United Store voucher. Our ultimate prize, given to the fan with the most points throughout the season, is a £500 United Store voucher. Plus, expect exciting giveaways along the way, exclusive to United Predictions players.

SAM CARNEY
Line-up: Onana; Yoro, De Ligt, Shaw; Dalot, Casemiro, Fernandes, Dorgu; Mbeumo, Cunha; Sesko.
Score: United 1 Arsenal 0
First scorer: Benjamin Sesko
MOTM: Sesko
Ever since the fixtures were released in mid-June, I’ve had a sneaky feeling United might start with a big statement victory in M16. With Benjamin Sesko joining Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha in a new-look attack, there’s a great deal of excitement about the Reds’ attack but I think it will be a tight encounter – unsurprisingly so, given the visitors’ strong defensive record in recent seasons. Hopefully Sesko will settle it!

Score: United 2 Arsenal 2

It's worth remembering how much of a threat Arsenal posed last season, but United's summer business does impress me, and I predict an entertaining draw to begin the new Premier League campaign.

There are some extremely tough calls to make for the boss, in each aspect of his side. I think Andre Onana will play, if he proves his fitness in time, while it feels harsh to leave the likes of Matthijs de Ligt, Amad and Mason Mount out.
However, I suspect there must be a temptation to start with new signing Benjamin Sesko up top, even though he is still settling in, and Diogo Dalot is obviously more of a natural defender than Amad on that right-hand side.
The engine room is another position up for debate. I wonder if Manuel Ugarte will get the nod to provide extra energy in a bid to stop the Gunners getting on top in midfield.
