Things are really starting to ramp up for Manchester United as we return to Champions League action before a big game at Old Trafford at the weekend, against Chelsea.

There is plenty going on, including Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's press conference from France to preview the Paris Saint-Germain tie, and games at other levels for the club.

Get an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes as our new no.7 Edinson Cavani trains with the Reds for the very first time…

MONDAY

The Reds fly to the French capital after a work-out at the Aon Training Complex in the morning. PSG boss Thomas Tuchel will address the media this afternoon around 14:00 BST, before the home side train at teatime. Ole and one of his players will hold a press conference around 18:00 BST remotely, from the team's hotel in Paris.

Hopefully, we'll discover some news on who has travelled and could be involved - including Edinson Cavani, who joined the group on Sunday, and may be in line to make his debut against his former club.

TUESDAY

United are back in Champions League combat, meeting PSG at the Parc des Princes, with a 20:00 BST kick-off. It's a big game and a tough one to begin Group H, with RB Leipzig hosting Istanbul Basaksehir at the same time in the other fixture.

Of course, the last time we played at the stadium, we pulled off an amazing 3-1 win to progress via the away-goals rule, thanks to Marcus Rashford's injury-time penalty in March 2019.

Our full squad list needs to be submitted to the Premier League during the day as well.

WEDNESDAY

The squad will be back in Manchester and recuperating after the exertions in Paris. Meanwhile, legendary former skipper Nemanja Vidic celebrates his birthday as the Serbian turns 39.

A reminder there is no fixture for United Women this week due to an international break.

THURSDAY

The Europa League takes centre stage and United fans may have an eye on AC Milan's intriguing tie at Celtic, as our defender Diogo Dalot returns to the UK with his loan club. Tottenham, meanwhile, face LASK - one of our opponents in the competition last season.

FRIDAY

Ole is set to discuss the weekend game with a morning press conference. We'll discover the latest plans for the visit of Chelsea in what should be a key fixture, a repeat of the opening match of the 2019/20 campaign, which we won 4-0.

In the evening, Neil Wood's Under-23s meet Everton at Leigh Sports Village with the 19:00 BST kick-off in Premier League 2 live on MUTV. The boys did superbly to earn a 3-3 draw at Arsenal over the weekend, with the Gunners fielding a much more experienced side.

Arnau Puigmal (2) and Joe Hugill are both on target as our Under-23s draw with the Gunners.

SATURDAY

The Reds tackle Frank Lampard's Blues at Old Trafford, looking to really get up and running at our home venue after the disappointing defeats to Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur. The contest is live on Sky Sports in the UK and gets under way at 17:30 BST.

Earlier, at midday, Neil Ryan's Under-18s, who have bolstered the squad with several new arrivals, are at Derby County. Again, it is set to be shown live on MUTV.

SUNDAY

The clocks change for daylight saving time in the UK as winter approaches. No doubt, the boys will be resting but preparing for the next busy week as everything gathers pace in the Premier League and Champions League.

Our 2020/21 home, away and third kits are available to buy now from United Direct.
