Is Bizet fit to face City?

Marc Skinner hopes Manchester United Women will have a clean bill of health heading into Sunday’s Adobe FA Cup semi-final at Manchester City.

The players have returned to Carrington following their international exploits, with all attention now focused on qualifying for a third successive cup final.

A second away victory at City this season would mean another trip to Wembley in May, and Skinner delivered some good news before the match at the Joie Stadium.

Celin Bizet missed out on Norway’s UEFA Nations League games against Iceland and France after withdrawing from the Scandinavians’ squad, but she has been able to fully take part in the sessions here.

Marc added that he still needed to assess our returnees but isn’t aware of any concerns at this stage.

“Everyone comes back in today, I've not had any reports that anybody's injured,” he told reporters.

“So hopefully everybody's fit and healthy.

“Celin she’s fine, she's trained all this week with us as well. She needed that rest period. She’d come out of the two games with like a niggling deep bruise, but she's come out of that and she's obviously okay.”

Evie Rabjohn has stepped up her recovery from the anterior cruciate ligament injury she suffered last summer.

Skinner ruled the teenager out of featuring for the remainder of the season but said her increased involvement at the training ground is a real positive when looking at plans for 2025/26.

“Evie is so welcome back on the grass, she joined into almost like a game format for really the first time on Wednesday,” Marc added.

Q&A | Marc Skinner looks forward to Sunday's FA Cup semi-final at Man City and details the latest team news...

“It's probably going to be too soon for her to feature in any of these games, just because she's got a lot of building back into the team [to do], and it's a crucial part of the season that you've got to be really physically and mentally prepared for.

“So probably unlikely, but she'll have a great opportunity now to build with us for the rest of the season.

“And then obviously [we’re] looking at what the best option is for her to get gametime going into the new season.”
