Jayde Riviere signed her first professional contract when joining Manchester United in January 2023, having started her youth career in the US and her home country, Canada.

A self-professed “huge Manchester United fan”, she quickly became a key cog in the Reds’ first team, with her all-action displays from full-back making her crucial at both ends of the pitch. So important did she make herself that the club moved to extend her terms in January 2025, handing her a new contract to run until June 2028, with the option of an additional year. The flying full-back is no less important for her country, racking up over 50 appearances for Canada before her 25th birthday, before repeating the trick for United in September 2025, marking the occasion with her first Reds goal, against London City Lionesses in the WSL.
