England international and Champions League winner signed from Chelsea in July 2023.
A Portsmouth-born lad, Mount joined Chelsea’s youth academy aged just six and established himself as a first-team player for the Blues in 2019, following fruitful loan spells with Vitesse Arnhem and Derby County.
The midfielder actually made his Premier League debut at Old Trafford and was an important performer under Frank Lampard and Thomas Tuchel, with whom he lifted the Champions League in 2021.
Mount was a member of England’s squad that reached the European Championship final later that summer, and he also played at the 2022 World Cup, before making the move from London to Manchester.
His first term at United was unfortunately heavily affected by injury, although he did return to the team towards the end of the season, scoring his first Reds goal at Brentford and being introduced as a substitute during the closing stages of our 2024 Emirates FA Cup final win.
