Mount was a member of England’s squad that reached the European Championship final in 2021, and he also played at the 2022 World Cup, before making the move from London to Manchester.
His first term at United was unfortunately heavily affected by injury, although he did return to the team towards the end of the season, scoring his first Reds goal at Brentford and being introduced as a substitute during the closing stages of our 2024 Emirates FA Cup final win.
More fitness frustrations restricted him to 27 games in 2024/25, although he did get a run in the team towards the end of the season and added three goals to his United tally, including a memorable brace against Athletic Club in the Europa League semi-final.
