In 2024, Manchester United added lethal Women’s Super League striker Elisabeth Terland to our ranks.
Terland was already gaining attention at the age of 14, as she attended training with Norwegian top-flight side Klepp, and she went on to make her Toppserien debut for the club just a year later.
Such were her talents, she was simultaneously appearing for the side’s first team, youth team and multiple age categories for national side, Norway, who she later represented at two European Championships. A move to SK Brann followed, where she lifted the Toppserien title in 2021 with future Red Lisa Naalsund, before joining WSL side Brighton & Hove Albion a year later.
She took the switch to English football in her stride and later earned a move United, where she notched 12 in her first season and upped that to 15 in her second term, a club-best for 2025/26.
