"Not having someone switched on from the short corner is poor. It's a bad result considering when the board went up, we were cruising and looked comfortable. You have to be switched on and I know the lads have given everything, but you have to be mentally switched on."

"I thought there was only one winner at 3-2. Maybe we should have scored more goals, but to concede the way we conceded in the last few moments, you can't win football games like that."

A seven-goal thriller ends in the favour of Chelsea as Mauricio Pochettino's men edge this one 4-3. Conor Gallagher gave the Blues the lead after just four minutes, sweeping home Malo Gusto's low cross. Antony then brought down Malo Gusto inside the box, with Cole Palmer stepping up to score the hosts' second from the penalty spot. Erik ten Hag's side fought back from two down to respond and first scored through Alejandro Garnacho before Bruno Fernandes popped up with a timely header to make it 2-2 in just five first-half minutes. As the second half began, United grew into the contest and Garnacho notched his second and the Reds' third to hand us the lead, after Antony's wonderful cross into the area. As we reached stoppage time, Chelsea were awarded a second penalty when Diogo Dalot was adjudged to have brought down Noni Madueke. Palmer scored once again from twelve yards, before the Three Lions international completed a hat-trick with the last kick of the game, slamming an effort that struck Scott McTominay on the way through to win the game.

Noni Madueke's first action is a shot at Andre Onana, with his left-footed shot easily gathered by the Cameroonian international.
89 MINS
Conor Gallagher relinquishes the captain's duties for the final stages, as he comes off for Noni Madueke.
88 MINS
Raheem Sterling weaves his way in and out of the United defence before the England international is halted in his tracks. Chelsea have a corner with just minutes of normal time remaining.
88 MINS
When Mason Mount got up from the bench to be introduced in the 85th minute, there were a few boos from the supporters around the dugout. When the fourth official put his board up, those boos rose in volume as the Chelsea faithful refused to welcome their former midfielder with open arms. He appears unfazed by this noise though, and will be hoping to help the Reds see this over the line.

It's a frosty reception for Mason Mount, as he replaces Alejandro Garnacho inside the final five minutes at Stamford Bridge.

Conor Gallagher is nowhere near Kobbie Mainoo and shoves the teenager to the ground in what can only be described as frustration. Free-kick United.
81 MINS
The Blues are in desperate search of an equaliser here and are throwing everything at United. Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer are operating on each flank but the Reds resistance is standing firm so far.
