Yes, the result is disappointing and wasn't the way we'd hoped to end the season, but there are more than just a few positives to take from United's 2022/23 campaign. After 62 games, the Reds are back in the Champions League, have won the Carabao Cup, and also reached another major final. I'd say that makes Erik's first season in charge a fruitful one. With a second summer under the Dutchman's tutelage ahead of us, and his blueprint taking shape at the club, the future looks exciting for this football club.
