Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has praised the current togetherness being shown both on and off the pitch, after Erik ten Hag's side recorded a fourth successive Premier League victory over Arsenal.
After yet another impressive midfield showing against the Gunners, our no.14 has solidifed his deep-lying playmaker role of late, lining up alongside Scott McTominay this season.
Eriksen praised the shift in mentality shown by all members of Erik's squad in recent weeks, following the defeats to Brighton and Brentford at the start of the campaign.
“There is a big difference compared to the first two games, yeah, that is true,”
Eriksen told Sky Sports on Sunday.
“But also, I think the new set-up with the manager coming in and me being new, coming into a new changing room.
“A lot of players coming in late, a lot of players who have been involved for a while, it’s getting used to everyone and I think you can feel it now.
“It’s going to get more comfortable with the lads and it is a really nice group. Everyone wants to do their best and compete.”
Having been pegged back by Mikel Arteta's side following Antony's debut goal, United responded brilliantly at the Theatre of Dreams, with Marcus Rashford netting twice to ensure another hard-fought victory.
With a key onus on doing the correct things at the correct times, Eriksen insists confidence is beginning to grow following our recent bout of victories.
“I think you can see in the games and you can feel the games from the players we are starting to be more confident,”
he added.
“We are dominating more on the ball compared to the first two games and even the first few games after that.
“We are controlling the game more than just running back and forth.”
