There is plenty that stands out about Manchester United's 2023/24 adidas away kit.
Whether it be the green-and-white stripes, or red elements that feature across the shirt, it's definitely a jersey that will get people talking.
Following the launch, let's take a look at five key details that you may not have noticed.
GREEN MACHINE
The base colour is a dark green - of course, you wouldn't have missed that!
However, what you may not know is that it is the first green second shirt United have had since the early 1900s.
The 1902/03 was the first season that our club went by the name of Manchester United, after changing from Newton Heath, and we had a green-and-white striped away jersey, much like the 2023/24 one.
STRIPES ARE BACK IN
The last time United had a striped away jersey of any kind was between 1994 and 1996.
Then, like the kit donned between 1920 and 1922, white and blue alternated across our away shirt.
A similar pattern - albeit with a different colour - has returned for the upcoming season.
There's just something about the stripes on the new shirt - complete with the subtle thin red pipe within - that just looks right.
THE BADGE COLOUR
Often a point of debate that can crop up after the launch of an away kit is if a club fails to match the crest with the colours the shirt.
The red and yellow of United's badge is striking, and looks at home on a red or white kit, as was the case last year.
But on a dark green kit, it could easily have looked out of place and taken away from the small details that make this shirt as fitting in lifestyle settings as on a football pitch.
Therefore, the United crest is green and white on this jersey, only adding its the ice-cold finish.
STRIPEY LONG SLEEVES
As with our 2023/24 home shirt, if supporters opt to get the long-sleeved version of our away jersey, the adidas stripes continue all the way down to the cuffs.
One other detail, that you may have missed, is that the white-and-red stripes also extend beyond the shoulder, all the way down the arm.
GREEN SHIRT, BLACK SHORTS
Despite white featuring as the secondary colour, the kit is completed by a set of black shorts and a pair of black socks.
The socks also have the same white adidas stripes hooped at the top, as is the case with our home kit.
