United Women ins and outs: Winter 2026

Manchester United have completed several incomings and outgoings in the Barclays Women's Super League's 2026 winter transfer window.

The signings of Hanna Lundkvist and Lea Schuller were formalised when the window opened on 1 January.

Lundkvist joined the Reds after departing American club San Diego Wave, while Schuller made the switch from German champions Bayern Munich.

Ellen Wangerheim then became our third recruit of the winter, upon completing her move from Swedish side Hammarby.

As far as outgoings are concerned, Hannah Blundell has signed on loan with Everton for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.

Geyse, meanwhile, has completed a permanent transfer to Mexican side Club America, after two-and-a-half years at United.

We have also wished Rachel Williams the best of luck for the future, as the striker has rejoined old club Leicester City.

Furthermore, three young Reds have embarked on temporary spells away from the club, with Lucy Newell heading to Crystal Palace and Emma Watson sealing a loan move to Tigres, before Mared Griffiths became a Sunderland player on WSL deadline day.

The window is due to close for WSL teams at 23:00 GMT on Tuesday 3 February.
