Manchester United's Premier League season is set to resume on Monday night, but the Reds will be without centre-back Harry Maguire for Leeds United's visit to Old Trafford.
The experienced defender was sent off in the closing stages of our last outing, the 2-2 draw away to Bournemouth 24 days ago, and will subsequently serve a one-match suspension as the Reds return to action.
It will be the first top-flight clash Maguire hasn't been available to start since January's reverse fixture and, having been named in our XI for each of the 10 games since Michael Carrick was appointed head coach later that month, his absence leaves a key selection decision for the boss to make ahead of the 20:00 BST kick-off.
Maguire has started each of United's last five matches next to Leny Yoro in the heart of our defence, with the latter playing every minute since Lisandro Martinez picked up the calf injury that sidelined him for that period.
Encouragingly, Carrick suggested that Martinez is in contention to make a timely return from that issue against Leeds, so the World Cup winner is a potential option to replace Harry.
Matthijs de Ligt is continuing his rehabilitation from a back problem and remains unavailable, but Ayden Heaven is another candidate to come into the side, after being introduced to sure up the defence following Maguire's red card at Bournemouth.
The 19-year-old is having the most action-packed season of his young senior career to date, and is who former United defender Wes Brown thinks will get the nod to line up alongside Yoro in the Monday-night encounter.
