Inside the Reds' training camp in Spain
Manchester United Academy graduate Danny Webber has provided a fascinating insight into Erik ten Hag’s training camp in Spain, with a particular focus on the young players who are hoping to develop their talents further after being on the trip.
The Reds have flown to Andalusia to prepare for two friendly matches against La Liga opposition: Cadiz CF on Wednesday and Real Betis this Saturday.
Both games will be shown live on MUTV and the club channel is now available on smart TVs following an announcement earlier today.
Due to the ongoing World Cup in Qatar, the United squad is a mix of established senior players and Academy prospects who are all determined to enhance their football education by working with the first team.

“There is a good camaraderie, we can see that, but there is also a clear focus within everything that is being done,” says Danny.
“We have seen some of the sessions out here, the intensity has been good, and everybody is tuning in to what the manager wants, which is key. You will get the most out of these trips if that is how you go about your business.
“What I would say is that the focus and the way they have been going about their business has been different class.”

“It has been good,” explains Danny in United Daily. “You can see, it is not just the players here - it's the coaches and everybody here, people like Demps, who is here with some of the Under-21s to help them transition and make sure things are seamless.
“When you are a young lad and coming into this environment, it is about learning quickly and making sure your standards are right off the pitch, watching the way you conduct yourselves, doing the warm-ups right, operating around the building right and interacting with the staff correctly. It is all those little things that make the bigger picture for the boys.
“The bonus is having the ball at your feet and doing what you love.”
