United's youngsters are ready to kick on

Amad, Facundo Pellistri and Hannibal have been sharing their preparations for Manchester United's return to training.

The Reds are back at Carrington today (6 July) as a squad for the first time since the conclusion of the 2022/23 campaign, with the Reds keen to build on a successful season.

New signing - and no.7 - Mason Mount could be among those taking part, along with a host of other United players who will be eager to impress Erik ten Hag during pre-season.

Prior to the return, however, Amad, Hannibal and Pellistri shared their hard work away from the pitch on their social media accounts, as the countdown to our first pre-season clash, against Leeds United on 12 July in Oslo, continues.

Facundo Pellistri posted images of him working out in the gym, with weightlifting emojis, as he aims to kick on following a season which saw Ten Hag give him his first-team debut.

The Uruguay international made a series of impressive cameos in the second half of the season, after representing his nation at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Amad, who spent last season on loan at Championship club Sunderland, being rewarded with the EFL supporters' Young Player of the Year award, is equally determined to make a mark in pre-season.

The 20-year-old posted images of him hard at work on a training pitch, with the caption: "waiting for the season".

The Ivory Coast international played a key role for the Black Cats last year as they reached the Championship play-offs. He also produced many moments of magic that he will look to emulate for the Reds this summer.

Hannibal, another of our loanees last term, also shared pictures of him pushing himself in the gym.

The 20-year-old Tunisia international who, like Amad, spent last season on loan in the Championship - but with Birmingham City - posted a video on his Instagram account of his preparations for pre-season.

Along with the caption: "Let's go!!! @manchesterunited," the video features the midfielder partaking in activities such as bike work and weightlifting, as well as a series of other functional exercises.

Like Amad and Pellistri, Hannibal is focused on making a mark this summer and staking a claim for a place in Ten Hag's first-team squad.

Keep up the good work, lads!
