Luke Shaw and Jadon Sancho missed the 3-1 Emirates FA Cup win over West Ham with a small injury and illness respectively, and it remains to be seen whether they will be fit for the trip down the M62.
Anthony Martial is continuing his recovery from a setback that has kept him out since the Carabao Cup second leg against Nottingham Forest at the beginning of February. Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek remain long-term absentees.
As for Liverpool, Darwin Nunez and Ibrahima Konate returned to the line-up for Wednesday's 2-0 home win over Wolves
Arthur Melo, Luis Diaz and Thiago Alcantara are working their way back from issues that have kept them sidelined, although Sunday’s game may come too soon for them to feature. Joe Gomez has recently picked up an injury, while young defender Calvin Ramsay is out for the season.

United have now gone 11 games unbeaten following Wednesday evening’s win over the Hammers at Old Trafford.
