September schedule changes for Ruben's men

Wednesday 23 July 2025 15:00

Manchester United's three Premier League fixtures in September have all been moved, to facilitate live television coverage.

Following an international break, our month will get under way with the Manchester derby against City at the Etihad Stadium.

The clash with our neighbours has been switched to 14 September, kicking off at 16:30 BST, filling Sky Sports' Super Sunday slot.

Of course, we won this game last term, coming from behind to register a 2-1 victory, with Bruno Fernandes and Amad on the scoresheet.

On the following weekend, our home encounter with Chelsea remains on Saturday 20 September, but has been moved to a 17:30 BST start.

The Old Trafford clash against the FIFA World Club Cup holders is also being shown live on Sky Sports.

Our trip to London to take on Brentford will now kick off at 12:30 BST on Saturday 27 September, with TNT Sports providing live coverage.

The Bees have replaced boss Thomas Frank, who joined Tottenham Hotspur, with Keith Andrews, and have announced the signing of former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, while the game marks a return to his former club for United new boy Bryan Mbeumo.
