Manchester United Women welcomed four new arrivals before the 2023 summer transfer window closed on Thursday.

Irene Guerrero was the first new player to be confirmed, as the Spain World Cup winner joined us on a permanent deal from Atletico Madrid.

Gabby George followed, returning to the club after being part of our Centre of Excellence Academy over a decade ago, while American keeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce then became our eighth summer signing as the clock ticked towards the midnight deadline.

The loan signing of Melvine Malard from Lyon was completed in time but announced on Friday, bringing to a close our business for the summer.

Here you can keep across all the business done by Marc Skinner’s side in the window, ahead of the new season.

We can now confirm which squad numbers our newcomers will wear, in addition to the rest of the new faces signed over the summer.

Defensive recruit George has been handed the no.3 shirt, which was previously worn by Maria Thorisdottir who departed the club last month..

Tullis-Joyce will sport the no. 91, a number she previously wore at her former club OL Reign.
In the middle of the park, Guerrero has taken over the no.8 shirt which had previously been occupied by the now departed Vilde Boe Risa.

We’ll also have a new no.9 in the squad this term, with Malard taking over the reins during her stay here, after Martha Thomas joined Tottenham Hotspur on deadline day.
Your new no.91: Phallon Tullis-Joyce.
Our new arrivals who arrived prior to Thursday's deadline have already been assigned squad numbers. Gemma Evans took over 15 after defensive mainstay Maya Le Tissier was handed the no.4 shirt, while Evie Rabjohn will wear 25.

Geyse is set to sport the 23 jersey, a number she previously held at Madrid CFF before her move to FC Barcelona.

Hinata Miyazawa is our new no.20, with 17-year-old Emma Watson wearing 34.
