The second month of 2024 was a positive one for Erik ten Hag's team, winning five of the six matches, while our Academy teams and United Women also enjoyed some key results.

Such was the wealth of quality from our sides across the 29 days - 2024 being a leap year - our shortlist includes not 10 but 12 finishes from around the club.

Rasmus Hojlund, who was in scintillating form prior to his injury, has two goals on the list, after notching five times in February.

His fine strike against West Ham United (the Denmark international's second of the game) and his record-breaking effort at Luton  Town- making the forward the youngest player to score in six consecutive Premier League matches - are both included among the 12 nominations.

Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro, Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford are also up for the award after netting in February.

For United Women, Nikita Parris's effort against Brighton and Ella Toone's strike at Southampton possess superb quality that make them worthy of a spot on the list, while our in-form Under-18s have three efforts included in the 12-goal shortlist.

Jack Kingdon and Jim Thwaites both netted in the 2-2 draw with Derby County, while Ashton Missin's effort against Middlesbrough rounds off the selection.
