“We could have had more goals and really seen the game out. It’s a tough win and sometimes they do more for you as a team. We’ll enjoy the victory and I think it will help us a lot going forward. “There were a lot of chances. I think the challenge for us now is when we’re in these games - the first 30 minutes were terrific and it was exactly what we planned to do - but if we can do that for 80 to 90 minutes of a game, we can be a lot more ruthless and score a lot more goals. We take the positives and work on the negatives. “I could have scored more - one hundred per cent. I was unlucky with one that hit the bar and the one from Fred when I tried to go first time. These are little things. If we can nail them down we can be coming in three or four goals up. For us, the game is finished then and these are the things we can improve on.” *Speaking on Sky Sports
"It was always going to be difficult. They’re a top team with some world-class players in there, you've go to deal with them as well, but I thought in the first 30 minutes in particular we were frightening on the break with Marcus and the other three up front. It gives you platform to go and attack the game as well. I feel we withstood some tremendous pressure in the second half as well, which will stand us in good stead for the games to come. "It was a big week for us. We spoke about that in the build up to it with three difficult games. It just tops it off nicely ahead of the Europa League game.
